Cold sores stay with you for life
You can only manage them as opposed to get rid of them
They can lay dormant for years and then just flare up
Mine seem to flare up when I let myself get run down |

Antiviral tablets or creams
Apple cider vinegar applied with a cotton bud several times a day is also alleged to work |

Cold sore is basically Herpes simplex, you keep it for life but most of time is it well hidden and only flares up when the immune system is weakened, e.g. at time of stress.
You can fight the symptoms with anti-viral creme like Zovirax.
Speak to chemist or pharmacist about it.
With an open infection, I would stay away from sex, especially oral sex like pussy licking or blow jobs, the risk of infecting the partner is very high |

He's not in any danger of getting to do or receive any of those so he should be fine. |

I find after shave on a cotton swap dores them up quicker. Try not to touch or pick when crusty |

I ended up with one in the eye!
No not pink eye!
My eye ball got stabbed by a honeysuckle branch causing trauma which then triggered the simplex. |

"It's my deal breaker this will never go with a colesaor sufferer "
A lot of people carry it, it just doesn't always flare up,
Asymptomatic .
There's nothing gross or stish about it |

nothing really gets rid of it..it has to take its course really..however..you can speed up the healing process but only to a certain extent..some of which have already been mentioned..some of which are also old wives tales..
But please carry on with the remedies if you feel they are working..
I get them occasionally..have done for a long time..
I bought a cold sore Zapper from my dentist ..cost's around £40..but is a one off price..uses batteries..you use it 3/4 times a day for a couple of minutes..It uses a very high frequency of waves..and reduces the healing time by about 3 days..worth a try. |

When I feel the first bump of a cold sore, I put perfume on it a few times a day for about 30 seconds at a time. Since doing this I've never had one come up into a blister and the lump goes within a couple of days. I've suffered with them since my teens and they can be so painful. I'm so glad I've found a way to stop them in their tracks now. |
