I always find this question a bit strange. My socks are in my bedroom and my shoes are in a foyer and I only put my shoes on right before I'm leaving so of course socks are on way before I put my shoes on. Why would anyone do it differently

Socks then shoes because that's the right way. And please always boxers before socks.
If your a man that puts his socks in before his boxer in the gym changing rooms. It's a bit weird lol |

I live in an upstairs flat and my bedroom is adjacent to the stairs to leave my flat so it works for me keeping my shoes in my bedroom.
Some guys love a pair of heels in the bedroom too (and some even like wearing them themselves  ) |
