Monetary wise or like sentimental value wise?
More sentimental value x"

It was stolen earlier this year. 1937 Zeiss-Ikon camera which had been my dad's since the 60s and on which he taught me photography in the late 70s. I was still frequently using it and it had a half finished film inside when stolen. Bloody toe rags.
Now it would be a toss up between the plate camera my dad made in the 50s (also still in use) or my wedding rings. I'd be devastated to lose any of them.

I have a little mammoth carved from a Siberian mammoth tusk, which was given to me by the family of a little boy who sadly passed away of CF. (They were from Siberia). It sits on my desk in my home office and reminds me, everyday, to be grateful for the people that have been a part of my life and for the life that I now have. |

"i dont prize things.
as at one time i had nothing and things can quickly go from good to bad.
as long as i stay above ground thats a blessing"
Had this too tbh... Have stopped keeping things I don't need and not getting emotionally attached to things so when I lose them or break them I don't get upset anymore... I love my books most but I wouldn't cry if they all went... I own nothing that I feel that way about, anymore, sentiment does you no good... Have a job to feel like it with most people these days too tho lol |

The aforementioned camera and rings for sure but also my record collection would be irreplaceable if it were destroyed or stolen. I'd be pretty upset if my Sinclair ZX81 went, it's been confirmed as the oldest working example in the world (second week of production). My violin is irreplaceable. The shirt I married my legal wife in. The bow tie I married my handfasted wife in.
I guess I'm sentimental and own some pretty unusual stuff too |
