Good but not the best, popular and of its time, always found some of it a bit forced but some deffo fantastic moments.
I think it depends on what you like.
Some all time classic moments obviously the chandelier.

"I think most british comedy is funny, silly but funny. This week Ive watched Hi de Hi, Dads Army and Alo Alo. All very similar humour but also very funny is a non offensive silly way "
Apart from the xenophobia and racism and probably a splash of homophobia.

I won’t tell Marlene about that little bird in Sheffield . If you look on Facebook for the Only Fools & Horses Appreciation Society it’s Only Fools & Horses galore , they also do conventions where you can meet the cast , including Mickey Pierce ( Patrick Murray , John Challis & Sue Holderness ( Boycie & Marlene ) Rachquel ( Tessa Peak Jones ). Cassandra ( Gwyneth Strong ) Alan Parry ( Dennis Lil ) . |

Porridge, especially the episode’ A night in’ great acting and script. Was always my favourite I loved that it didn’t have intro music, the door slamming was almost like you were entering the Prison yourself.
Created the word naff (not available for fucking) and when I went for an interview to be a Prison Officer after leaving the Army, the Officers I were talking to said it summed up Prison quite well. They all knew a Fletcher
Obviously a great bunch of actors, even the supporting casts were cast well, but with Richard Beckinsdale and Ronnie Barker perfect in their roles and written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais I just think it never had a bad episode.
Liked Only Fools but loved Porridge |

OFAH is my all time favourite
Goodnight Sweetheart and Keeping up Appearances are close 2nd and 3rds in British comedy
And I LOVE The Office US, my current obsession! The UK one is poo which shocked me as I usually love UK stuff and hate US |

I love Fawlty Towers and the bit with the Major especially, makes me cringe, a lot but I accept it’s of it’s time and the fact it makes me cringe, makes me happy that we’ve progressed. ?? |

I can’t stand the office and I couldn’t stand him either but I reluctantly watched afterlife and it was bloody brilliant. My mind has changed about him now. |

I do get the smug face thing. If you haven’t seen afterlife though, do watch it. |

Personally I think Peep Show is one of, if not the best.
But only fools and horses was great, sadly about 3/4 of the jokes now would probably cause offense and have people on twitter in fits |
