Late rise today after a long and enjoyable day yesterday, and only just had my toasts for breakfast.
For me, toast must be white, thick slice, nicely browned and not just a hint of colour, cooled so that butter does not melt instantly when it hits the toast and make it all soggy.
Had one with a thick layer of butter, and the other with butter and peanut butter, yum yum!

me too and i can set the smoke alarms off doing that! I now have a resident Chef in the house and havent step foot near the cooker for 2 years. lol |

I really love cooking, especially for friends. I dont mean the boring day to day stuff but enjoy trying something new, create my own recipes and play around with ingredients. Downside? No two recipes are ever the same ...;-) |
