Red velvet cake is amazing but it has to be fresh and not overly sweet.
I caved earlier and had a slice of Eton mess sponge cake a colleague had baked - like a Victoria sponge but topped with mini, oh so mini meringues and a whipped strawberry cream topping and strawberry jam in the middle with white chocolate and crushed meringues. So brilliant I'd bathe in it. |

Cupcakes, some for my daughters teacher and some for a customer of mine because its her birthday. And a few for us and a few for the freezer cos I will be a piggy otherwise!  |
