I prefer wearing light makeup for a meet, despite knowing I'm likely to be a sweaty mess by the end I've yet to find a fixing spray that doesn't leave me smearing a little foundation on bedding or something. Any useful tips? Waterproof mascara is a go to, I wear a lipgloss that to be fair disappears quite fast, eyeshadow tends to survive, think I'm getting the foundation wrong somehow!

A good primer user before your foundation will help it to stay in place. NYX do a lovely fixing spray that I’ve found quite good. It’s quite cheap too

Setting spray can be used after primer, after concealer, after foundation and after powder. What ever combo works for you mines before foundation and after

I wouldn't call this light, but smudge proof makeup - Jackie Aina did a video on how to do it under a mask.

I can't say it works for bedding, but can confirm that the foundation/base technique works under a mask

Thank you all so much! Never occurred to me to try setting spray on more than one layer will give a different primer a try too. Appreciate the video link, will practice this weekend in preparation for freedom day and getting deliciously naughty soon

Also I find a light dust of translucent powder helps set quite nicely (and then I set with spray to finish it off) x xx

It’s nasty on the skin but a very old drag queen trick hair spray you need a scrubbing brush to take the make up off

It works I do it for meets saves makeup going all over the place but wouldn’t recommend for a ever day type off thing settting spry is best there but for that one off hot and sweety night always go with hair spry

Sounds like I need a can of Elnett Nyx is my go-to eye primer, shadow doesn't budge on that, so their products will be worth a go. I use translucent powder on my shiny nose but maybe a proper bake is needed x

I've learnt not to bother. It looks so unattractive melting off your face and nothing will stop that. Au natrel for sex!

I once smudged makeup all over the side of someone's inflatable hot tub

I only buy it in the Christmas packs in January, because it's not cheap.

Dunno about staying power, but BB cream is lighter and healthier than foundation.
