Awkward nakedness

Hear me out...

Nakedness is everywhere on here and that is great! However when I am with friends, family, fab friends (non-sexual) I am awkward around nakedness. I have to look the other way when people get changed and never change in front of them. I even struggle with pictures of then on here once I know them personally.

Is anyone else like this because I'm starting to think it is just me ....

I will add with sexual partners of both sexes, I am not bothered

Yes, absolutely.

I’m always very aware of what I’m wearing too and tend to cover up now I’m a bit older

I've played for a lot of football teams, rugby and America Football. Spent plenty of time in gyms. Served in the military for ten years too. Been to clubs and played in gangbangs. I've been naked with a lot of people. Guess I'm just used to it now

Maybe something in your deep subconscious is telling you nakedness is wrong/embarrassing/taboo if it’s non sexual. This could have been triggered by something you don’t even remember.

It obviously bothers you, or you wouldn’t have posted the question.

If you spent some time in a naturist environment, I’m sure your reservations would disappear. We’ve found being around other naked people who have no body hang ups, no matter what shape they are, is refreshing.

I can cope with a bikini but not really nudity anymore. Definitely my age as I used to be so outgoing and carefree

Doesn’t bother me being naked at all even tho I’m not that great I don’t care. I used to be shy but now sod it life’s to short.

It isnt that I am getting older or fatter as I have always been built this way...something in my brain maybe. I am glad to see there are a few others the same though

I reckon that if you can pluck up the courage to go to a naturist beach, after a while your inhibitions about being naked would soon disappear.

In my late teens I was very self conscious about being naked but as I have gotten older that has dropped off. I love being naked around people now - it is not necessarily a turn on thing - I just love being naked.

Off to Studland on Monday so I can be naked for the whole day

I suppose I equate being naked with sex so I personally wouldn't want to view someone naked in a non-sexual context.
