I used clippers on my balls once...and once only...that's a lesson you never forget...
....and has two lots of pain...first one hits as your sack gets sucked into the blades...and then the second comes when you have to extract yourself from them  |

During a hot bath is always the best time to do it. Strongly recommend splashing with cold water afterwards too as well as a thorough scrub to exfoliate before hand. Then some kind of moisturiser after you’ve used the cold water. |

As the saying goes you don't want to be flossing when you noshing.
I short clippers my pubic bone area then shave the sack and crack.
On women it depends on the person hair or shaved I dont mind tbh.

If shaven then freshly done ideally - I’m not a huge fan if it’s at the spikey/prickly stage 
But caaaarefully trimmed so it’s soft & fuzzy is nice too
