When you’re feeling a little down or need a bit of a confidence boost what do you do, or how do you snap out of it

You have some nice tats paul! Are you an artist? You seem like a good person. Go out on the street and try to find a person that need help or near your neighbourhood. There is always someone that need more help than you!

Look at yourself? Are you still healthy, fit, have a home, but of cash on your account ?

I do silly buggering things like sing to and dance by myself for no good reason other than because I’m enjoying the music and that moment. It then transports me to other happier places in my mind and can help lift me in general. Seems silly and small but it helps me.

Like this. Bloody silly but who cares.

.

Lots of little things. A hug with the fiancé. Talking to someone who finds me delightfully arousing - being desired by someone is such a confidence boost and gives you that proper I'm the dog bollocks strut. Sometimes a 5k waddle and then I marvel at how my boobs stay in the sports bra and the post run endorphin glow. Listening to musicals and singing along at the top of my voice, doing the various characters. Trying on new lingerie and thinking fuck yes, I'd do me. Friends who remind me of how epic I can be.

Or I just accept that I'm having a wobble and it's not a permanent state of mind. Soon that confidence comes back. I hope that whatever works for you, you find it soon and it comes back for you.

Sunday me and a couple mates actually saved a very elderly women’s life, noticed her in her doorway trying to ask for help. Went over there she must have had a fall blood on the floor and she was very delusional. Called for an ambulance and found out yesterday that she had severe concussion

Step back and have some quiet time. Then chat to friends whilst waiting for it to pass…

Going to the gym helps me. After a hard days work and most times a dreaded return home. A good cardio session really helps me stay on top.

That’s a good one too! Running is one of the best free exercise that enable thinking or just make you pumping extra endorphins and serotonin! Good for moods, adding a cold shower and you will call your mates for a night out

Maldon and Peterborough

I'm very rarely low on confidence, but I tend to sit back, evaluate things and find the positives.

Then go and 'kick-ass'.

Ill go to the gym have a good weight session and hit the jacuzzi and chat with some strangers i dont know. Usually that works if it doesnt I tend to get on my spin bike and ride scream ride scream and ride until ive not got the energy to feel down, at that point ill stick a low budget film on and order a pizza and sink a bottle of red, Usually i fall asleep and wake up in peace the next morning.

The gatsby way isnt always the best way

Go for a run, go to the gym, listen to music, meditate, focus on positive things.

Or sometimes just go to the pub with a mate.
