How do women cope on here.
Reading forum after forum the oversaturated male community has bombarded every woman on here.
So let's hear what you women do to cope with the egotistical alpha males and how do you usually like to be approached.
Maybe some of the men will learn something from this. |

I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the Men of Fab, but occasionally criticising the ones who don’t help themselves, isn’t bashing every man on the site.
The majority of messages I get a polite and respectful but occasionally I get a rude or nasty one. I don’t blame every guy, just those that do it.
Last week I was accused of ‘man bashing’ on a thread when I gave an example of rudeness I’d received. But I’ve always been a supporter of the guys who are decent and kind as they certainly (in my opinion) outnumber the wankers.

I cope by deleting my messages when I send them so that I have no idea wether they've been read and ignored or just ignored. Also, I try to remain chilled about it all and not see it as something of high importance but just fun. |

How dare us women stand up and say no, that's not on.
Man bashing is an easy comeback to shut someone down, to dismiss and minimalise. It's up there with it's just banter, your sensitive humorless. Easier to say these things rather than correct and adjust their behaviour.
And yet the language used by men in the forums somehow has become acceptable, a culture has been created.
My thoughts when I joined here have changed.
20% of the forums I like, 80 is all minge clunge get your tits out ass out, lets start a topic where really I just want some wank material.
The language used is archaic, I mean just look at some of the Male user names.
Men as parents to girls are super important. You are teaching and showing them what treatment to accept tolerate.
How would you feel if your daughter mother sister was treated,spoken to, objectified in this way.
As a parent of 2 males I equally have the responsibility of how to treat listen value and respect women.
Marital 'G'rape did not become illegal until 1992. 1992 people! Therefore the blueprint of women being subservient is still current!
This is something I am mindful of when raising children. Down to the smallest of thinga such as a woman working and still is expected although it's not blatantly thought to pick up the household parenting load.
The emergance of 50% pr is fairly new as is challenging the culture of for example the school phoneing mum first.
It is entrenched although covertly in our society.
It can only change by acting small and locally.
Clearly not every man behaves or conscouisly/sub in this way. But you don't have to look hard at all to see the qaulitve and qauntative evidence. |

It’s not ‘man bashing’ it’s calling out shitty behaviour. If you don’t do it, it’s not about you and it’s nothing to do with gender.
The issue is formed when people start to defend or dismiss behaviours based around the basis of having the same genitalia.
I take no guilt for the behaviour of other people and I don’t need anyone to defend me based solely on gender.
Getting defensive about ‘man bashing’ is just #NotAllMen by another name as is just as derailing.

It the male half. To clarify your point i appreciate single guys and am always polite and respectful to them when they message us even if it is a no thank you. It was this type of thread that I was referring to. I have equally 'had a go' for want of a better phrase at some of the single ladies who have in the past posted man bashing threads. |

I cope perfectly fine.. in the time I’ve been on here I have only had one not nice message. Many are uninspiring but easy to ignore and don’t offend me.
I chat to and have met with some amazing guys… there are definitely plenty out there. |

Would be easier to adopt mechanisms used in dating apps, like mutual interest/matching and only allowing messaging after that. |

Second thing I'm overwhelmed of how many people responded.
Thirdly there's a lot of people on the defence line which does come across exactly what I'm getting up.
Ladies I absolutely feel sorry for most you for the abuse, harassment and degrading towards you.
Yes its a swing/perv site but it's nobodys right to think it is acceptable to speak to people like this.

Second thing I'm overwhelmed of how many people responded.
Thirdly there's a lot of people on the defence line which does come across exactly what I'm getting up.
Ladies I absolutely feel sorry for most you for the abuse, harassment and degrading towards you.
Yes its a swing/perv site but it's nobodys right to think it is acceptable to speak to people like this.
Unfortunately who we think are adults come across a just a spoilt little teenager who has just found out what sex is about after they have just watched 6000 hours of porn.
I think I must be unoffendable (is that even a word?!). Nothing bothers me. Just delete, block, take it with a ton of salt, let it go over your head etc etc. Maybe I just don’t take it all seriously enough. Who knows!

Finally somebody using common sense.
The point of this was because the amount of times I read on forums and people statuses about the amount of dick heads that are messaging with no/lack of respect.
Yes there is a few women who do the same but let's be honest guys this is predominantly males on this site.
