Since antiquity, folk medicine treatments have used vinegar, but no conclusive evidence from clinical research supports health claims of benefits for diabetes, weight loss, cancer, or use as a probiotic. However, a systematic review and meta-analysis on vinegar for diabetes came out in favor for using vinegar as "dietary advice for patients with diabetes." Some treatments with vinegar pose risks to health. Oesophageal injury by apple cider vinegar has been reported, and because vinegar products sold for medicinal purposes are neither regulated nor standardized, such products may vary widely in content and acidity.

"Does anyone else on here drink vinegar for health reasons and does it work?
I swigged off a teaspoon of Sarsons this morning and then read you are meant to dilute it first...
Hmmm."
No but I have watched Prison Cell Block H about 5 times through to completion. |
