Heres one for all the people not obsessed with the football. Discuss anything random.

I've just finished an amazing dinner of marinated butterfly chicken, yorkies, roasties, veggies and gravy. I am now stuffed

I have a feeling you may have to join me in the corner ...

Which is slightly ironic since the goal came from a cross in open play .. dammit!!

Amazing. It's the only telly I am guaranteed to watch.

It's bleak and dark and grim and claustraphobic but this series things change a lot and I'm ridiculously excited about it.

The first series is a great adaptation of the book so if you like the book then it's really likely you'll enjoy the series.

Just jump right in - all seasons are available on all4. The follow up seasons don't follow Atwood's sequel at all, but nothing in them really does violence to the original book or characters.

The book is good but the show goes much deeper.

And Elizabeth moss is superb in it.

I do like reading but sometimes it can take away something away from the show if you get what I mean.

I read the first book (audiobook while sunbathing if honest) … is there another book? It’s the first audiobook I’ve done and when it ended I was like whaaaat?!? Nooo!! Where’s the REST?!? … Ive watched all the episodes … even the ones I’ve not supposed to have seen yet … so I’d love to know if there’s a book 2 and I just haven’t found it yet x

There is, it's called the Testaments.

It doesn't resolve some of the ambiguities from the first book, but gives more about Aunt Lydia and Nicole.

Would mint tea help? Too warm for a hot water bottle which is my go-to remedy in that situation.

I really loved it, there was huge character development in it for the aunts.

There is some talk of a spin-off series following the story, still with Ann Dowd as aunt Lydia, but I don't see how it would work given the back story she's had in the series.
