I enjoy an afternoon nap and always have done. I always get tired in the 2-4pm timeslot. Have nodded off at my desk at work before.

South Lakes

In my early fifties I experienced this for a couple of years before a different doctor to my normal one did tests and found I had underactive thyroid, one pill a day to keep the levels good and all is OK, just a suggestion of what may be wrong.

I might have to look into this.

My mum has underactive Thyroid and I have a daughter who had an over active thyroid and had to have it removed

I had a full test panel done a while ago, nothing noteworthy found. Though it's definitely connected to general depression and anxiety, and losing faith in how human beings behave. At the moment feeling a bit that, anybody who isn't worried, can't be paying attention to the details.

Lol, life and soul of the party aren't I

I've been like this a lot lately too , must just be an age and family thing.

My Dad and Grandad always had an afternoon kip . That's my excuse anyway

Get your results printed out, just because they're in range doesn't mean they're optimal.

I have low folate, B12 and Vit D. Symptoms can include anxiety, depression, aches, pains, fatigue.

GP was useless and didn't help at all so now I have my own protocol that I follow.
