I've smashed my son's favourite memory of a trip pint glass.
It wouldn't be a sin if it wasn't for the fact he has specifically bought me an unbreakable mug and pint glass (slightly clumsy I am).
I haven't told him yet, I have 3 options;
Fess up and see the disappointment in his eyes ...again
Fess up but say it slipped out my hands when i was unloading the dishwasher...disappointment but understanding
See if my friend in the country he got it can find me another
I sinned by using it and taking it in the garden
I am sinning by considering other options (your offsprings look of disapointment in you is crushing!)
