How often you send messages and winks ?

Just wondering how often people send UNSOLICITED messages and winks , so many complaining about being ignored or rejected made me realise I send them on average 1 every 6 months or so, what do you do ? |

I usually send wink as a way to inform my interest without bothering them with a message.. If I get a wink back I then send a message.
Sometimes (more so recently) I'll send a message as winks seem to be lost somewhere.. Lol |

Technically most have to start with one approaching the other so they will always be unsolicited. I usually wink first and only message if I get one in return. The problem is the people who persist after being rejected  |

I always respond to a wink.. it saves all the pain of coming up with a witty and thoughtful message only to never have been read..if the wink is acknowledged then I will take the time with a good message.
However I usually lurk in shadows of the forums these days.. |

i stopped sending messages to women as everyday on the forum i see them complaining about the ones they get.
its got to the point where whatever you do its never going to be the right thing so i just dont bother now.
im sure others feel like this but are not brave enough to say so |

I don't respond to a wink if I'm not interested or they look fake, I usually suggest they go and get photo verified before engaging with people |

I don't usually wink someone. I too thought people ignore them or don't read anything into the wink itself....
However, if someone winks me I will wink them and raise them with a few fabs of pics I like in their profile.
For amusement I wink myself - but that's just for my own personal giggles!!!  |

I think I've only ever sent a couple of winks as part of Forum game.
I often message people privately via threads regarding something they posted, but for new chat or meets perhaps only once a month? |

Once every three or four months or do. Someone really has to catch my eye for me to message. I am not currently looking and that happens often as well, so I think it is the same old desperadoes using a scatter gun approach that inundate people's mail boxes. |

I feel winks are put in a really strange place... I'd much rather prefer it on "Home" as that's often where I am the most. I don't notice until I change a pic or edit something! Then it looks like I'm ignoring.

Will quite often send a wink.
Some profiles say they won't acknowledge a wink so after reading the profile I will determine whether or not to send a message.
I think a wink shows interest and if no wink back or message then I will know that there is no mutual interest so saves me wasting mine and their time.. |

It's not unsolicited if a woman's profile piques my interest and I send her a unique handcrafted message.
It would be unsolicited if her profile says "Only here for the forums; not looking to chat or meet".
