Beauty/body products
Make up/face creams/serums/hair products/body lotions/night creams/perfume...
I have tons and I still buy more before I use up what I have. I’m trying to break the habit but it’s hard.
I have 6 drawers full of products alone. |

Guilty!
Although I've hardly bought any new makeup over this past year (apart from the essentials when I run out). Perks of work from home and no more social life |

No, I've stopped all that. I was really into skin care and make up, spent a fortune, did a full face every day. Then that summer it was really hot I just stopped.
Now I cleanse, use Aveeno, do my brows, put some mascara on and I'm done. Even given up the lippy because of wearing a mask all the time. |

I’ve found brands that work for me and I tend to buy in bulk a couple of times a year - cleanse/tone/moisturise daily - skin care is important but I don’t wear a full face of make up every day so I spend less on those products xx |

No. The odd face cream or lipstick but not much else. I do however get given a fair bit at Xmas and on birthdays. |

"Clothes that make them wonder if it makes their bum look big lol"
Ma ex used to ask me that whenever she tried on anything before we went on a night out, when I usually replied "Yes Dear, your bum looks big in everything", I awaited the inevitable slap round the back of the head |

I’m the same ... cleanse/exfoliating tonic/tone/moisturise daily and I use tret 0.1% several times a week on a evening then night cream.
I still buy more so I have several of everything.
I think I just collect lipsticks too for fun |

Face products I have figured out those I like and I stick to them. Make up I don't tend to wear that much so I don't spend much on it.
Hair products at the moment I've too many, trying to find the best products for my wavy curly hair is being a bit of a nightmare. |

"And that's why you always take a girl swimming for a first date!
Or invite them to yours and do face masks "
I would have to save up for a month to be enough for a face mask |

It's an addiction that I love...
Nothing wrong with trying new products and wanting to improve ourselves..... |

"Nope it's just one big money making scam taking advantage of our insecurities. Couple of products gets me through daily life simple "
I don’t really see how half the things listed are scams but each to their own. |

Nopw, nowhere near enough but I don't have much disposable income. I'd buy insane amounts if I could afford it. I usually stock up when I get money for birthdays etc. |

I don't think any of it is a scam. Do what makes you feel good. |

No, I'm very low maintenance. I use raw coconut oil for multiple purposes and make up wise generally either Barry M eye pencil or lipstick/lip gloss. Don't do foundation etc.
I used to get Birchboxes as it was nice getting new things to try but I'm wanting to be make more sustainable choices so stopped it |

Not really.
I don't wear makeup.
I wash my face with a cloth and hot water then bung moisturiser on and shower with bar soap.
I worked for Revlon in the 70's and did all that cleanse, tone, moisturiser thing but soon realised I was a rip off. |

Why did I think this thread was going to be about dildos for some reason? |

Actually I completely agree with you on reflection. I’m not insecure and I love make up and perfume. |

Same. I'm happy and confident going anywhere without makeup (and more often than not I don't feel the need to wear it) but I also love getting dolled up and doing a full face. I like being creative and coming up with new looks, plus spending an hour or two on myself is a great form of self care.
Plus it's always noticed and appreciated and the compliments on my artistry make me feel good. For me, it's a win-win |

I don’t wear much make up daily but do put a little on, makes me feel confident.
I spend a bit extra on skin care and have noticed my skin feeling better.
I could go mad buying things tbh, do love an eyeshadow palette or five |
