Personally I’d track the progress using the link provided, rather than rely the generic non-specific text they send everyone but hey, I’m just a little crazy like that! |

Shortly is no more than half an hour to me....
If the engineer is on the way at 8.10 and isn't here by 9.00 which is is now...... he could have driven from Manchester by now .. SO HE ISN'T NEARLY HERE ....... |

"Just leave a note on your door saying
Come in I am at the shop buying an axe and knives, will be back shortly "
I like this.
I could also say ...... track me , then just keep doing figure 8's round the block |

This is from my experience of these texts and tracking systems. I live in a relatively remote area though |

If he's not there by half past I'd be ringing up/ringing him.
Not because I'm impatient but I'll sit on my arse for 20 minutes and after that I've got stuff to do.
If he's on the way he'll know an ETA from his sat nav so it's not impossible for him to tell you. |

"Came and went. Wrong type of engineer apparently.

reminds me of when I needed a new lock on my front door. They ask "is the door wooden or plastic?"
Me: "plastic"
2 dudes turn up. "Ooooo, we can't touch that it's plastic, we only do wooden"
Cheers mateys, I lost a days pay for that and now have to lose another when the plastic specialist extraordinaire can find time |

For sure the lock frame is metal so it doesn’t matter about the surrounding material ?? Snobbish attitude |
