There's no laws against wearing a loin cloth in public are there...

Start the revolution... ha ha

But I'm pretty sure I seen a doc that tribesmen covered their gentilia due to thorny bushes in the jungle.

Then whipped it out when back in camp....

I'm pretty sure we were wearing animal skins before any ice age. As a basic answer you're right to some extent, warmth would have been the primary driving force. I was thinking a little more nuanced than that, like the big chief guy covering up his favourite women because he's pissed off with every bloke in the cave dribbling over her.

Well yeh the first garments of clothing was made from animal hide your right

The started covering up as they ventured further out of the comfort zone which ment it was colder and they decided duck this it's boltic knitt me a onesie
