Congrats to Spain & Italy, who secured the first 2 Semi Final places last night. They now play each other at Wembley on Tuesday for a place in the Final next Sunday.
Today though it’s the BIG one, the one we’ve all been waiting for.. Denmark v the Czech Republic at 5pm.
Everyone’s favourite second team Denmark will be the popular choice to progress to Wednesday’s Wembley Semi-Final but the Czechs have shown they’re no pushovers, including a comprehensive win over 0-0 tournament-winning slayers Scotland.
Fans everywhere will be willing the Danes towards the Final, and hopefully a repeat of their famous 1992 tournament win, after the shocking incident with Christian Eriksen earlier in the competition.
I think it’ll be a close run game but the Danes may have fortune with them and I predict them to progress.
Elsewhere, the 8pm game sees England play Ukraine in Rome.
Who will win? Who will make headlines today? Who will be dancing in the streets come 10pm?
My predictions:
Czech Rep 1-2 Denmark
Ukraine 1-1 England (Ukraine win on penalties)

"Are you trying to curry favour with our Celtic neighbours or to put a reverse jinx on proceedings? "
I know a few on here are straining at the leash to get posting as soon as England lose ..
It would be so typical to do the hard work on Tuesday and cock it up tonight, wouldn’t it? .. |

Czech 2-3 Denmark (AET)
Ukraine 0-2 England
As much as that looks patriotic, I just don’t think Ukraine have enough up front to break down the English defence, a team that is yet to concede this tournament. And we have an embarrassment of riches going forwards. |

It would be, yes!
I hope that we’re growing past that level of frailty though…
I do find it very hard to get excited though, given past experiences.
I think that the heat and other factors will play a large part for us. I’m managing my expectations and quietly hopeful but cautious.
I’ve been hurt too many times before |

So far too much emphasis on the embarrassment and not on the riches |

Yep, however I may have taken an uncharacteristic punt on a Semi Final ticket before knowing the outcome of tonight’s game.
If anything is likely to jinx us, it’s that |

"Despite natural instincts, I will be cheering on England tonight. Good luck to them.
AS many of us would if the tables were turned "
I definitely did 5 years ago for Wales as I did this year for both Wales and Scotland |

England 3 - Ukraine 0 , we lose the arms deal we made with them, ooops.
It`s a game of two halves, oh and extra time , oh and penalties. If we keep moving the goal posts, we`ll be over the moon.
Don`t forget the curse of Sir Alf Ramsey.
Since the FA gave him the boot we`ve never won a major tournament. Not even Yuri Geller can sort that.

"Nervous yet?
Not long now ... come on Denmark!
Or the Czech Republic!
I don’t care ....
Why is it being played in Azerbaijan? It's roasting there.
Calm down Clive "
Now you're going to have to explain who Clive is, to me. |

"Denmark already 1 up in the battle to play Ukraine in the semi!
I like the cut of your jib.
Don’t over do it though, the football gods are fickle and just might give you what you want"
I genuinely have a bad feeling ...
Hope it’s misplaced! |

I have that every time we play!
I think it’s the immediate reflex reaction to the Germany win; we’ve had the pleasure, where’s the pain? |

I think it was shankley that said Football is not life and death its more important than that I'm not English but won't be supporting the anyone else but England theory surely you can only have the feeling of exhilaration of a goal when its your team that scores |

Well done Denmark, quite a dour game I thought, but very hot and humid in Baku so must have been draining!
Everyone’s favourite 2nd team now just (potentially) 90 minutes away from the Final.
But who will they play?
Nerves jangling ... not long to go now ..... |

Right. Here goes, logging off, see you after the game, win or lose. Let’s hope they’re not dancing in the streets of Kirkcaldy, well not tonight anyway!
Come on!!! |

"Booom the three lions are roaring tonight
But, but his name's not Arry.. Arry Henderson do fine
they are looking good for the final now
Your right Denmark won't be easy but I suspect England will have too much pace for them
One at a time..
Denmark are a different animal.." |

True, first team to lose their first two group games and get to the quarters, never mind the semis. Also, only team to ever win the Euros without even qualifying!
But, as the Czechs showed they have weaknesses |

What an amazing game!
So many things to take from it and not least of which was Kane looking right back on form, I’m so glad that he proved the doubters wrong.
Bring on Denmark and the second semi in as many major tournaments! |

I've never felt more comfortable during an England match in a knock-out tournament. What a performance and nice to see Kane getting into some form, just need to keep giving him the service |
