why do people arrange a meet let you travel to there place or get close then cancel....it pisses me off. but then i suppose a thankyou to all the genuine ones |

As terrible as this sounds, we have been given the run around so many times by these folk that we have started to arrange two meets at a time knowing full well that at least will never show. Would you believe that sometimes neither end up meeting after making virtual concrete plans. We don't get it either |

one good reason why meeting people from the same area would be better than messing around driving all over the country unless your 100% sure they are not bottlers or messers. |

yes we know how you feel hun we have had a lot mostly couples mays you feel sick you put up a meet sorted yesss then they dont turn up you even talk on phone to them both just to be sure they are well up for it then nothing sure gives them a kick to do it we would never waste peoples time if we cant make it we give 3 or more hours for them to get another meet its bloody hard work some single guys are just as bad but now we meet couples at the club and if we dont get on we say then move away do something esle gives the real guys and couples a bad name them who really want to meet  |

have to say we must be very lucky in that never had that bad a situation; had just 1 maybe 2 couples cry off early in the day but never anywhere as late as when we starting to get showered & dressed , let alone enroute..
maybe our basic stance that many profiles are guilty until proven innocent has lost us some gen meets in the past, but at least we've never had a last min let down - even when travelling typically 100 miles |

Well at the moment I have a couple who keep arranging meets with me, so I get myself ready only to receive a text saying that unexpectedly some friends or family have turned up on their doorstep. Once is forgiven, twice is bearable but thrice is definitely a liberty! X |
