when I said they where too early i got "its only 7 weeks away!" shouted at me 
What are you suppose to do when carol singers turn up at your door, stand there and see if the know the whole "We wish you a merry christmas" song, or just throw a quid at them and tell them to bugger off. |

We don't seem to get carol singers anymore ... or trick n treaters come to think of it ... but when we did get them round, if they came too early they were told they could stand and sing but no pennies  |

Movin away from Carol singers to decorations...
A house not far from us has got his Christmas lights up outside his house all ready, he;s been busy all week putting them up, big switch on is this weekend.........
Its just to bloody early, lets have Halloween and Bonfire Night first |

But they dont even sing carols or even know any !!!
You hear "we wish you a merry xmas and a happy new year" and thats it
Knock the door and expect money.
So i normally says...
OK , give us a cpl of carols and they say
ermmmmmm we dont know any.

One house in our area put there's up last month, and another house just didn't take there's down from last year, they was there all summer.. not switched on though
As a rule we don't ever answer the door unless we are expecting someone so don't know if carol singers or not
