I put a folded blanket on a chair recently, while I took some other items from the dryer. Within seconds my tom Tigger was on it, curled up and went to sleep. It was now his favoured sleep location. Never one to miss out, my Tabby cat beat him to it when he vacated it to go outside. Poor Tiggy didn't know what to do with himself when he returned. He sat on the rug longingly starting at the blanket and chair now occupied by Tabby. Every so often he crept around the base of the chair and reached up to prod her. Tabby was not for moving. She sat in a Sphinx like pose grinning rather smugly.

“I never meet”

Dogs chasing their tails and the look of shock when they catch it and feel the pain as their own teeth sink in

Maybe that’s why big dogs like Rottweilers etc used to have their tails docked - so it didn’t get messy

My cats both do this.

"Puppies and first mirror experiences…"

I wonder if they realise the image as themselves, or another animal of no threat.

My cat Willow always meows very loudly and repeatedly when she comes in from the outside. She sounds very alarmed as if she's telling me that there is a fire but I think it's just her way of saying hello.

Ferrets doing a weasel war dance..if you haven't seen it then google it! Its so cute, I had a ferret who did his war dance at our elderly cat, who promptly booped him for his efforts. Possibly one of the cutest funniest things.
