I purchased a Peloton bike during lockdown and wondered if any other fabbers have one?

We can create our own group and ride/chat.

Just an idea.

No but a saw a news report t’other day that unless you pay the monthly subscription they are able to disable the bike.

Is this true or ‘urban legend’ like bullshit?

Do they come round & take away the peddles?

Agreed. I'd like to see you ride it around the living room though

ha dunno, but something about limiting the functionality (although I think it’s treadmills not bikes)

Story here ... admin my apologies if this link isn’t allowed (please remove it) but it is a news story : https://mashable.com/article/peloton-treadmill-monthly-subscription-required-just-run

Nah, this is bullshit. You don't have to have a subscription, but if you don't you can't do any 'live' classes and the on demand classes are limited

All too high tech for me! I'm happy with my rollers and a banging playlist.

Sounds like a good idea though OP

We have one M loves it and is still using it all the time over a year on.

It’s like everything if you use it it’s not a waste of money

My bestie is a Peleton fan through and through! Got the bike and all the gadgets. I have to say it’s impressive

I agree totally, you don't invest that kind of money unless you're going to use it.

Happy to forward my peloton username if you want to add me?

I was sceptical at first due to the initial outlay and never used a static bike before, but I was soon hooked!

Still use my road bike, but the convenience of the Peloton means I use it daily!
