What do you wear for a first time social meet?

A social for means just that, a social. At this point I probably like the person as otherwise I would not have agreed to meet them but I have no idea whatsoever if I fancy them.
So, I dress casually and definitely not in an overtly sexual, provocative way.
I can be flirty in casual clothes if I find I am attracted to the person - equally if I am not I do not need to "back off" which is difficult if I sent the signal in the first place.
Just my way of managing expectations. |

During the day....now...weather wise, nice off the shoulder summer dress and wedges.....evening probably skinny Jean's or leather look skinnys with a nice chiffon (to reveal a little but not too much!!!) top and heels!!  |

I pretty much live in dresses so most likely you'll find me wearing one if we arranged to meet. I'd probably pick one that was low cut and wrapped around the waist to really show off my figure if I wanted to make a lasting impression.  |

It completely depends on the time, location and activity...I dress to suit those, as I would in any social situation.
Most situations would be smart casual, so a dress or smart jeans and top. I did once have a hiking social, so wore leggings, t-shirt and walking boots...I'd have looked a bit silly turning up in a dress and heels  |

I’m guessing you’re kidding about the string vest but would you ever go to a social in a kilt really? That would be immense 
I like to wear dresses - I have day dresses that are casual but also a little provocative, I could dress them up or down with the shoes I chose and if I wear a jacket or not xx |

I just picked it as an example. We normally learn a few things (likes/dislikes) before we meet someone. |

I don't have a set outfit. Whatever the mood takes me on the day. Same as I would otherwise wear when going out anywhere. I don't dress specifically for meeting someone from fab. |

For me it depends on the season(time of year), and what kind of date it is(restaurant, activity, or a stroll on the beach). What's important is that we both have a good time. |

I don’t really have specific clothes. Whatever I’d normally wear for daytime or a night out really. I tend to always look presentable when I leave the house. Unless it’s to the gym, probably not my most flattering look  . |
