Spaceman by Babylon zoo in the 501 ads sounded amazing until people heard the whole song

little house on the praire

Theres some brilliant songs on the adverts, theres two at the moment a trex song and the monkees and i feel old knowing all the words. My favourite of the year is the twinnings advert. Cant remember the name of the song now

The first adverts I can remember that used music to sell stuff was, Levi 501's with heard it through the grapevine with Nick wotshisface in the launderette and Vauxhall using the opening riff from Clapton's Layla.

Thats going back a bit.

I remember seeing it done in Quadrophenia as well.

I can also remember The Tufty Club and Green Cross Code ads as well, they had shite music in them lol

There is a hair-dye advert shown repeatedly (I think on C5 as they sponsor a show).... It's just a guitar riff, but I really like and want to knopw what it is.

Because it's driving me nuts!

I feel as if I already know it, or maybe where it sampled from... but can't quite get it.

It's right on the tip of my mind!

Scuff workwear did a promo ad that was really funny but they pull it but still about on net

the original wherever you will go by the calling has been murdered by the woeful version used on the twinings ads almost to the same extent as little minx making an abomination of damien rice's cannonballs...please please please do not let these people loose to do cover versions....as regards the atrocious version of fleetwood macs go your own way i cringe when that droning voice comes on the ads after stevie nicks theres no comparision....

I never try and compare cover versions as long as they make the attempt to change
