What as made you feel all warm and fuzzy lately?
It could be England’s win last night, a new job, finally booking a holiday away or a loved one.
But what has sparked your smile to beam this week? |

My daughter, she’s doing sex ed at school and she’s coming out with some crackers! . You can be just sitting at the dinner table and she’ll just come out with a question or a statement. I’ve nearly ch*ked on my dinner a few times lately . Luckily I’ve managed to keep a straight face! |

Deciding to leave my job! Things change incrementally, you convince yourself that each change is just a small thing, but takes a while to take a step back and realise that the job or organisation just doesn’t fit any more. Time to leave and do something else, hit the reset button, stop adapting my life to other people’s requirements. Still there, working 3 month bloody notice period, but I feel better already. |

Most of the above are job related, which is good to hear. 8 hours a day in a place you aren’t getting much enjoyment will leave you not a very cheerful person, know your worth!
But for me it’s health/fitness related - body is starting to bounce back & getting more compliments |

My young son overcame some of his anxieties and had a sleepover with a friend at the weekend - first in over a year and a half. Made me very proud. Might not seem a big deal for many, but for him, it’s a momentous achievement.
I managed to do a handstand on a paddle board at the weekend. Yay me! Next week i will put it in the water.
I’ve reconnected with some old friends in here recently and that’s been lovely.
Happy Hump Day all

Agreed. Strong correlation between being healthy/fit and happy for me, but the recent moment of clarity in work and making the security leave has been fantastic |

"Lots of things are keeping that smile on my face
My daughter left school this week and has already had a job offer and try out. She's just 16 and makes me so incredibly proud every day
Moving my friend to the other end of the country to be with the man she loves has made my heart swell
A connection made on here is growing, a silly smile almost a permanent feature...
And it's my gorgeous mates birthday today... Happy Birthday Quetzawhateveryournameis!! "
Awww awesome times… hope the road trips going well |

I remember when we were in school, my sister drawing diagrams for science homework on the reproductive process. My mother was in the floor laughing when she saw the final diagram, bollocks the size of footballs and a cock the size of a leg |

Loving Wimbledon
Chatting to a few lovely guys on here.....
Hoping to meet someone very soon. "
I’ll admit it I didn’t watch the Football! I had my 2 1/2 year old daughter who wanted to play pirates in the garden, and I’ll admit I had more fun doing that than watching football.
I’m glad they won though. |

Being complimented on my dog training this morning! It seems someone’s been watching us for a while and stopped me to say what a good job I’m doing
Watching my children come through hard times by pulling together whilst it makes me sad seeing their strength and supporting each other really makes me smile |

What's your reason to smile OP? You didn't say "
My daughter makes me smile everyday, she’s cheeky, independent, fearless but loves cuddles.
Someone I’ve met who daily makes me smile and as become another reason other than my daughter why heading back to work later in the year will be hard. But I’ll be seeing her this weekend so another reason to smile.
Hope you get to travel over soon x |
