I have a friend who's German. And she is quite frankly mad about football. I was thinking Shall I message her and ask her 'did you see the game dear'?

Bearing in mind we had a fight a few weeks ago. So maybe this is the perfect opportunity to make-up?

I'd drop the "dear" bit if relations between you are fragile

Oh yeah she was so mad at me she even blocked me on WhatsApp, then she unblocked me a week later, realising the gravity of her crime.

"What was your fight about ?"

Oh well she snapped at me over nothing really. So I didn't speak to her for a few days. Then she messaged me to ask 'how was the windsurfing, did you go out'? Because I was still annoyed with her I didn't reply. She's a windsurfer too, but she was at the other end of the beach and at another hotel. Then she messaged me again to ask if I was still alive? But I still didn't reply. And then she came round to my hotel... Oh well you know. Then I went round to make up, but she wasn't have none of it. Then she saw me a week later and I wasn't have none it... So you get the picture don't you?

So you fucked her off and played games with her now want to message her in a rather patronising manner about football.... Do you actually want to be friends with her?

"Have you made up with your friend now ?"

I messeaged her, and to cut a long story short what it really comes down to is that she does not at all like my friends. When I talk about clubvass(this is the English end, where a lot of the English windsurfers are , and we also have a hotel, windsurf gear, teaching, rescue boats, ect), at the other end it's the Europeans. Which is where she is. That's where I met her last summer. I noticed last year that when I mention 'clubvass' she literally goes mad at me. she's like 'don't ever talk about them, I never want to hear about them. Now this year two of her friends were rescued by my friends(yes they were both English), but we will and do rescue and help anyone who is in trouble out in the water. They even rescued her too(she told me this yesterday). So I was really annoyed with her. I asked her 'You have never liked Clubvass, why'? She said 'When I come to Greece I eat and talk to the Greeks in Greeks, but you English do not integrate with the Greeks'. Basically that's what she is saying. Which isn't totally true. Clubvass have been here over 30 years, We love and respect the Greek culture, and The club actually employ a loyal number of Greek staff. I do understand her in that When Brits go abroad they(like Spain) they want fish and chips and a fry up ect. Which to be fair is silly. I mean if you travel all the way to Japan, south Korea, Thailand, ect, would you not try the local food? But what really got to me was that she too was rescued by my the English when she was out on the water, and some times it can get quite bad. Yet she still hates people that saved her. That I can't tolerate.

It sounds like a very unhealthy dynamic.

We're not a couple at all. We're just windsurf buddies who became friends. That's all.
