Found a nice weatherman pen someone bought be a few years ago, completely forgot I had it.

Had to clean it out a bit as the old ink had dried up but now it works beautifully.

I love using fountain pens to write with. The noise at it scratches on the paper, the look of the ink as it dries on the page..

ah i miss Woolworths, used to constantly buy fountain pens for 99p that came with 4 blue ink cartridges.

always ended up staining my fingers but was part of the experience. The nibs used to mould to my own style making it impossible for anyone else to pinch and use.

ahhh the memories

Those Watermen pens are nice actually and quite expensive to buy. If you ever chose to sell you might be surprised as some of them carry a value as a collectors item.

And if you run out of ink, be assured you can get replacements easily online. How do I know all this, no I'm not a pen collector, I used to sell them and Cross and Schaeffer and it's surprising just how many people still value a good pen and will actually pay good money for them

I have numerous fountain pens, but special times I use a Mont Blanc fountain pen. (Given by an ex boss)

They are so nice to write with and look elegant with anyones scrawl!

i am guessing none of u are left handed - can remember being in school using a fountain pen and getting into trouble for having the paper at the wrong angle to the pen - it was the only way to do it being left handed - otherwise your hand smudged the ink as u wrote ............

Yes I marvel at the anti-stab facility incorporated into biros
