I took an ex girlfriend to rigby peller in london as she was a 42d and always wore wrong bras. Really pleased she went. No backache and lovely material too. Guess I am a very appreciative. Breast man and it did end tears when she went to work in Canada. Go to the best. That you get meaured properly. Paul

Ive read up on the internet about measuring yourself and then deducting inches etc etc but its bloody hard doing it yourself and you still end up with the wrong bra size

3 different sizes is off putting as then you dont know the best place to go

Just bought 3 gorgeous bras from primark but none the right size so have to go back and mess about now

Not a happy bunny

I swear by bravissimo. They do it by eye - no tape measure! And they know the size differences in their stock so they may bring you different sized bras but they should (and usually do) all fit.

If you're above a c cup then they are definitely worth a visit - you don't have time yo get fitted but you have time to return things?!

I did go back and buy the M&S bra...but you mention Primark. I then went to Primark and thought Id get the size M&S said, ( get cheaper ones for casual )

Got home the bloody hangers said the correct size and the bras were 2 cups bigger gggrrrrrrrr

I've never found that there are any "standard" sizes - they can differ hugely from one brand to another - which is really annoying.

The worse fitting bra I ever had was one that I bought when I went to a professional fitters to be measured - it was agony!

Now I stick to finding what feels right and then sticking with one brand, one style, one size..

But it still feels soooo good when I can just take the damn thing off and feel free!!!

Still - if anyone wants to come and check mine out for size and feel - they are very welcome....

yes _iew,a lot of womens breasts swell, and size can vary depending on the time of the month, but its bad enough trying to get a bra that fits without having different sizes for different times,i just put up with it and take it off as soon as i get home

I have the advantage of just buying a bra then getting fake tits to fill it.

Of course the downside is they're fake tits.

However, if I had real tits I probably would never leave the house for playing with them, so there's upsides and downsides.

Just nosing in on forums and stumbled on this topic.. New to the forums. Had lots of problems with bra size as I fluctuate between 36h and 38j! Went to bravissimo shop where they do measure you to a T and you can order on line. There's another called Foners where they actually measure you... Marks an Spencer never have my size!! The bras I get are expensive, yet great for my health and pleasure. Well best of luck and happy swinging! Ebony. Xx

Well getting the right underwear size is important as this little story will tell you, and as for bra's when my ex was measured during pregnancy, the lady simply said that the strap at the back need to be straight, if it isn't the bra doesn't fit!

The doctor said, "Joe, the good news is I can cure your headaches. The bad news is that it will require castration. You have a very rare condition, which causes your testicles to press on your spine, and the pressure creates one hell of a headache. The only way to relieve the pressure is to remove the testicles."

Joe was shocked and depressed. He wondered if he had anything to live for. He couldn't concentrate long enough to answer, but decided he had no choice but to go under the knife.

When he left the hospital he was without a headache for the first time in 20 years, but he felt like he was missing an important part of himself. As he walked down the street, he realized that he felt like a different person. He could make a new beginning and live a new life. He saw a men's clothing store & thought, "That's what I need - a new suit."

He entered the shop and told the salesman, "I'd like a new suit." The elderly tailor eyed him briefly and said, "Let's see ... size 44 long." Joe laughed, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!" Joe tried on the suit. It fit perfectly.

As Joe admired himself in the mirror, the salesman asked, "How about a new shirt?" Joe thought for a moment and then said, "Sure." The salesman eyed Joe and said, "Let's see, 34 sleeve & 16-1/2 neck." Again, Joe was surprised, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!"

Joe tried on the shirt, and it fit perfectly. As Joe adjusted the collar in the mirror, the salesman asked, "How about new shoes?" Joe was on a roll and said, "Sure." The salesman eyed Joe's feet and said, "Let's see ... 9-1/2 E." Joe was astonished, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!"

Joe tried on the shoes and they fit perfectly. Joe walked comfortably around the shop and the salesman asked, "How about some new underwear?" Joe thought for a second and said, "Sure." The salesman stepped back, eyed Joe's waist and said, "Let's see... size 36."

Joe laughed. "Ah ha! I got you! I've worn size 34 since I was 18 years old." The salesman shook his head, "You can't wear a size 34. A size 34 underwear would press your testicles up against the base of your spine and give you one hell of a headache.

I agree, Bravissimo are brilliant. I love it there as I feel quite small compared to some of the sizes they have in stock.

The difference in being properly measured is brilliant. Bras not cutting into your back or riding up and the boobs feeling properly encased.

Yes they are a lot more expensive than Primark, but you cant really expect Primark to have properly fitting bras can you.

Theres no comparison with measuring yourself really, so if you want a really good fitting bra then get measured properly.

The only time I like to fall out of my bra and look like Nell Gwynne is when Im at swinging clubs, cos its the only place it works really

I got measured a few months back at Evans was shocked to find I had gone up from a 42dd that I had worn for about 4 yrs to a 46E. bought 2 new bras and a set of extenders so I can still get some use of my old ones.

I have quite a few Doreen bras, they are the longer length ones with triangular stiched cups. I like brands like Triumph and Playtex because I wear vintage style underwear.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It is the best feeling wearing the right sized bra. Shoulders don't ache and your whole posture looks better. Large breasts look better and less overwhelming in the right size too. I was shocked to find I am 34G as that's a large letter in the bra alphabet. But it works.

If you can, always try them on before buying. Different styles and materials may have a different fit for you. The Rigby and Peller woman told me to always remember that you can always try up one back size and down a cup size or vice versa. That tends to work when getting an M&S one instead of a Rigby and Peller one. The other golden rule is that it SHOULD feel tight on the last setting in the shop. As soon as you wear it and wash it will stretch a bit. The inner fastenings are there for when it stretches.

View, I used to have different sets of everything when still have periods as I gained 7lbs for 2 weeks every month.

Too small bras only for clubs and teasing.
