Starts tomorrow ...
Who’s gonna watch on telly?
Anyone going to see it live this year?
I’ve been a few times in the past, managed to get to Men’s Semi-Final day a few years back but nothing this year.
Strawberries and cream, Pimms on the lawn... it’s a nice day out!
Who will win? Who’s your fave player(s)?
Do you get strangely aroused by all the grunting and groaning?

Would love to go , never get round to getting tickets as they’re so expensive and so many hoops to jump through, French open seems better value even with the Eurostar costs. Always watch it on the tv and play a bit myself. |

I use to be a member at David Lloyd, and every year they did a lottery for tickets to Wimbledon. It's so expensive to get a ticket and difficult to even get one(that was what I heard).But I never knew it was cheaper for the French open. However I still think Wimbledon is far better than the French open. |

We've got Court number 2 this year, but do still have my ballot tickets for centre court rolled over to next year from last which I'm very excited about.
I just love the atmosphere there and quite enjoy some of the vets games on the outside courts too |

Ah wonderful! So you know you have tickets for next year already, that’s awesome.
Does that mean the ballot this Autumn (for next year) is already mostly subscribed?  |

I think so, as its been rolled over for 2 years now so anyone who had a ticket last year will have the same ticket available for next year.
I guess anyone who can't go and surrenders theirs will go back into the pool available |

Was it Queen’s still? Unless they had a re-play from previous years..

Ahh gotcha .. saw the headline, not the story! I can get it if it’s selfies with the players. I assumed it was just selfies of yourself in the grounds! |

I used to work in the Press Centre in the 90's so got to see lots on Centre Court.
Not something I would pay to go and watch though.
Good to experience at least once in your life though. |
