I’d love to know people’s thoughts on blocking people who message you and that you’re not interested in.
It feels bad to block someone when they haven’t actually done anything wrong but that would stop them sending multiple messages.
Opinions? |

We block those we don’t plan on meeting, it just saves time for us.
We also block folk from the forum of their views/opinions are strongly against ours.
As has been said, we use Fab the way we want to.

If they seem like a nice person from their profile but not my type, I'd just say so politely and expect it to go no further. If they pester, block city.
If their profile screams asshole, block and no message.
I occasionally preemptively block people I know I wouldn't shag in a million years, and sometimes ones who clog my local feed up with loads of spammy pics or repetitive look at me status updates. |

If people are being rude insulting etc then blocking is the answer .
I think some just use the block button even if your not rude just so they don't get anymore messages. Or they just not interested seems a little bit rude in it'd self that but that's just my opinion.. not saying there's anything wrong in that just an observation |

The advantage of blocking is that it stops them messaging you again.
I've had men who clearly haven't read my profile message me requesting meets, to be politely turned down, only to message me again weeks later. Blocking prevents this. |

Yep this happens a lot and is why I think just blocking would be easier! |

Yeah that’s what makes me apprehensive but unfortunately a lot of guys on here continue to message even after being turned down. I truly think that some have forgotten they’ve messaged me before! |

I think it's particularly useful for those who get a lot of messages. Don't feel bad about it, it's just another tool. |

Don't feel bad. It's part of the way things are here.
I've been blocked many times because I'm not what they are looking for. That's fair. It also means that if they've done that without getting to know me enough, they aren't what I'm looking for either.... |
