I'm not a Royalists, but I do have a lot of respect for the Queen. The history she carries from world War 2 to many events thus far. But the latest drama with her grandson, Harry and his Wife Meghan. I mean seriously now, irrespective of weather there be any truth in thier accusations, was it ethical, moral and just to go on TV and then continue to make further damage? I remember watching thier wedding on TV with my ex, we were having a dirty weekend and my ex being American too was quite fascinated with it all. Fast forward 3 or was it 2 years on and who would have thought all this madness/shenanigans unfolding.

i also have massive respect for the queen, but megan is poison, and harry is a week man who does what his wife tells him, i just wish they would fuck off, all they are doing is draging the royal family through the mud.

im not sure megan realised what being a royal really ment and she doesnt like the reality, the sooner they go away the better, america is welcome to them, but please keep them there, we dont want them back

Harry is back in the UK isn't he? For an unveiling ceremony of a statue of Diana? Hopefully the Queen will lock him in a tower and keep him away from her

I said when they got married that she was a snake, her eyes were cold and she was a damn fine actress

Then you saw the drama unfold with her own family and now she is creating it with his

It was disgusting how that interview went ahead while Prince Phillip was so poorly and he stood at his Grandfather's Grave like the hypocrite that he has shown himself to be.

So you don’t think there was any truth in what they said at all?

"So you don’t think there was any truth in what they said at all?"

They lied about getting married three days before the wedding.

They lied about Charles cutting Harry off financially.

They lied about when Meghan last saw her sister.

So how do we know that anything they say is true ?

Thing is I am sure there could be elements of truths, but also stuff blown wildly out of proportion but whether it is true or not any accusations lost any credibility they had when they spilled to Oprah on national television....Might as well as gone on Jeremy Kyle or Jerry. And also when Prince Phillip was in Hospital.

And why wait until they leave the UK to do it?

Yes apparently Harry is back in the UK for the unveiling of his late mother's statue. I'm very close to my brothers so I feel for William. It's so sad when families fall apart. I think Harry is not the person he once was or that there is a side to him the general public never knew. If he had integrity he should have told his wife 'No what ever happened, this is still my family, and it's wrong to say hurtful things about my them'. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be for the family to be in Harry's presence now. Crikey you could probably hear a pin drop.

Couldn't of put it better myself, when this goes wrong, and it will in years to come, I hope he doesn't come crawling back expecting us to welcome him with open arms

Yep I agree. I don't necessarily get along with my brothers but no amount of money would make me throw them under the bus. It is childish

And to call their little one Lillibet is just an insult. Wtf are they playing at

Do we really know what’s going on behind the scenes, or is it the media surmising on certain issues ?

But they aren't exactly out there putting the media straight are they? Harry bitches about the media yet allows his wife to run to them when she wants to spill....

If the media is surmising then it is of Sussex's own creation

Do you know what I think? I have stayed away from threads like this for so long, but dammit, I bit!!

I think he is fallible, he is Human and we all can't be a perfect model of what society dictates.

It doesn't help that his older brother is the golden child, with his perfect Stepford wife and their perfect children.

He grew up in the spotlight having his mothers' honour questioned, and his parentage speculated about, with no right of reply.

No wonder he fell for someone about as diametrically opposite to the family as you can get.

I think he probably regrets a lot of things, and that sometimes he is easily led, and badly advised.

I think the press will akways need a villain and they have decided its her, probably because of her skin colour and bationality, it gives them lots of material.

I hope he finds some happiness and peace with her, but I doubt that tragedy will leave them unmarked.

I this is pretty much where I am too. The only other thing I would add is that the machinery of monarchy is different from the family of the monarch, and you can guarantee that there are some nasty little bastards working in the machinery. Those are the ones that have driven a young couple away from their family in my opinion.

Never really liked her and I remember when I saw the engagement interview and she always came across very fake and like she studied exactly what to say , how to say and rehearsed

Doesn’t surprise me about her moves/decisions to go back to Hollywood.

Also Harry is turning out to be quite an arsehole too, they can do one

Well said Tess. People seem to forget that they are human, and they make mistakes. He must have been traumatised by what happened to his mother too, and he said he could see the same thing happening to his wife

I’m not saying they are perfect either, but everyone makes mistakes.

For a pair who complain so much about media intrusion they have been puttingbthemselves in the spotlight an awful lot.

I feel sorry for Harry.

I can see what's really going on here, having been in a similar relationship myself.

I wouldn't believe anything the monarchy puts out about itself. It's a self serving institution that historically has been shown to do what is required to ensure its continuation. It's convenient to have us believe that Harry and Meghan are the bad guys while we have a future monarch who will be head of the C of E who made vows before God on his wedding day that he had no intention of keeping and another senior royal who has been removed from public duty and apparently doesn't sweat. They take the attention away from those things. None of us are ever going to know the truth of what's gone on.

I genuinely don't understand either why so many people think if a couple move away from the man's family it's because the woman has made him do it against his will but think it's ok for the woman to leave her home behind.

agree with this, alot of the other junior royals are never heard of in the media, if they wanted to live a quiet life then it is possable, i see history repeating itself. want to stay away from the media, then stop ccourting them, its not rocked science
