Hi I am really looking to see experience some events with normal classy people but because all the sleazy dogs on here, the normal men (like me) get tarred with same brush. Any advice?? |

Op I sympathise with you it’s really hard for us
(normal guys) if that’s the right phrase, to get ahead on here due to the amount of time waster, guys pretending to someone they are not, unfortunately we have to just try and hope the cream rises to the top,

Thanks to you both. Yea I have not got verifications coz the offers I had I wasn’t interested and the woman I messaged mostly havnt replied.. I’m happy to FaceTime etc as I have nothing to hide. |

. I didn’t know about that feature.. will that have me verified though? I definitely have nothing to hide. I have also swapped numbers a few times

To put one thing straight OP - the *only* person that impacts your experience of the site is you - there may be an imbalance of men to women/couples, and that does have an effect, but if you present yourself well, find the right approach for you, have the right attitude, and set your expectations correctly and couple that with a well written profile and pictures then other guys can't impact your experience.
As for invites to events/parties - you have to be "known" to secure an invite, or keep a check on the events pages of the site and request to attend - some will require you to be verified and as others have suggested there are ways to do that.
You could also look out for group socials, get more involved in the forums and chat rooms, all of which are great ways to get to know people and get "known".
Alternatively you could look to start attending clubs when they re-open which are another great entry point into the scene where you can get to know people and potentially find what you're looking for.
Remember though there are no guarantees around the site or even clubs/events, so set your expectations correctly and be prepared to accept a rejection with good grace  |

I think if people actually have a face cam, with face pics on their profile and are capable of conversing in a chat room and ask would someone mind verifying them then someone usually will. The key thing is sometimes you do actually have to ask as people aren't mind readers |

I think if people actually have a face cam, with face pics on their profile and are capable of conversing in a chat room and ask would someone mind verifying them then someone usually will. The key thing is sometimes you do actually have to ask as people aren't mind readers "
I do completely understand, it’s ok asking of course but when the person with whom you was talking has ghosted you then unfortunately the chance of being able to ask them to veri you has gone, and it’s hard to strike up a conversation on here with people without them thinking constantly that every single guy has an underlying motive…….sometimes it’s just nice to have just a general chit chat with another person  |

People don't stop meeting just because some are inappropriate. Give others the credit to be able to determine who is right for them.
Take things 1 step at a time. Increase your circle of contacts progressively. Little is immediate in this lifestyle. |

I honestly think there’s another way of looking at it - if this site is full of “sleazy guys”, there’s an opportunity to stand out by being awesome.
It can be done. I’m really not saying the following to appear amazing, and I’m far from being a Fab legend - it’s just to illustrate a point. I’m older, balder, far less toned, less handsome, less athletic etc, but I’ve had a really rewarding time on Fab over the years. I’ve made great friends, and I’ve even been to parties and events, which I never thought would happen.
