So, today I have noticed a pigeon in my garden. My garden isn't much of a garden, it's mostly pebbles and concrete.

However, I have noticed a pigeon which has spent most of today sitting in my garden. It's obviously a young pigeon. It is also obviously not mal-nutritioned as I have put out a bowl of water and I've put out a bowl of wild bird seed. It has ignored both of these.

It occasionally flies away.

That's what I at first thought. It's why I went mental about putting out water, food and providing rest. However, the fucker refused my mixed nut offerings, refused to peck at the huge bowl of water I put out, keeps flying off and coming back, and has even refused to eat any of the £1 Wild Bird Seed that I bought from Tesco.

How inconsiderate of it sounds like a privileged pigeon

They don't need that. They just drive past my house each day and check out whether my car has moved.

If its a racing pigeon. It'll have rings on it's leg, one of those will have a mobile number on it so you can contact its owner. They're usually really tame as they're used to being handled.

No rings? Wild pigeon.

Ho Chi Minge City

Reminds me of those news reports from Vegas where someone had glued little cowboy hats onto the pigeons heads…..makes them look way better too

IRLANDA. / Prague. / Cil Dara

Check it's ankles, if it's ringed, he's a swinger

If both ankles are ringed he's in a race

If 1 ankle has 2 rings and another has 1 catch him, the owner will pay to get him back, lol

It's definitely got no rings on it's legs. And it also has the "bumfluff" feathery stuff which suggests it's one of this years newborns.

Not tame either, I can get close enough to put out a bowl of water and saucer of wild bird food, but if I get too close it wanders away.

It disappeared last night, but came back this morning. I've been out most of the day, but it was definitely watching me this mid morning.

I live close to Llandudno and can confirm that seagulls will steal a KFC mini fillet burger if they get the chance.

I have a magpie that waits outside the green house where the birds nuts are stored.

"Shoot it and make pie?"

My refrigerator is filled with enough lard, plain four, chicken breast and water to ensure I can make a pie without having to shoot a poor, defenceless pigeon. I also have a rolling pin and I know how to use it........

LOL

I did.

It doesn't.

It's got newborn bumfluff when it shakes it's head.

Hope that helps.
