Tunnocks of Uddington in Scotland claim to make and sell 6.5
Million of their Caramel Wafer biscuit bars every week.
If you take out all the under 3’s in the UK (who can’t eat because of their teeth and/or choking hazard) and over 80’s (who don’t usually have any teeth), that leaves us around 68 million people in the uk to chomp our way through the 6.5 million bars/week. I’m not mathematician, but that’s 0.1 bars per person. Or 1 in 10 people.
I’ve not had one this week. My friend Eric hasn’t had one either. In fact I don’t know anyone who’s had one of the delicious sweet chewy beauties this week.
So the question is: who’s eating them all?

You know they don't sell them direct don't you? Considering the number of shops, supermarkets and exports is think that's not far off. And who doesn't love a tunnocks wafer with a brew? |
