I’m sitting in my kitchen and something is ticking.
It’s not the cooker clock and I don’t own any other type of clock.
It’s seriously doing my head in now cos I can’t figure out where the damn noise is coming from |

It sounds a bit too regular? Uniformed? Evenly spaced (dunno what the word is I’m looking for but all those will do  ) |

A drip could be regular and is probably the most likely cause... unfortunately |

Ah ha, I’ve found it.
After walking from one end of the kitchen to the other several times (because it always sounded like it was coming from the other end to the one I was at), switching off plugs, pressing my ear up to the cooker clock just in case and then standing very still cos for a minute I thought it might have been me ticking…I’ve finally realised it was coming from my laptop charger that was plugged in to an extension lead |
