Sounds flippant but when work got me down, I thought “fuck it” and left. I realise it’s not as easy as that for most.

Maybe have a look around and see what else is out there.. it sounds like you’re going through the motions which won’t do you very well for very long!

Otherwise hopefully the bump will help find a new audience and others that might be more helpful. Good luck, fella

If you’re an electrician, that’s a real problem.

Do you have clear goals/objectives at work?

Do let your role provide advancement oops? Do you want them?

Are you bored?

Uninspired?

What do you want?

Maybe you need a new challenge?

If you don’t want a change of career then maybe speak to your superior and ask if they have anything different you can do?

couple, us we him her.

Head down arse up,crack on with the job and try to look at every crap job as a challenge.

Rather than saying"oh this is a shit job I'm not looking forward to this one"

Say

"This is a shit job but I'm going to try to make it the best shit job ever"

Near Marlborough

Sometimes it’s just time for a change.

If it’s not that then try a few days off, do things you like, write a few lists and mull it over away from the office.

If you can’t give yourself a good talking too perhaps there’s someone close who can help you pick it apart, is it boredom or lack of recognition or not giving you the rewards you want. Get to the “what is is you do want” first then you can start to plan how you get there.

Good luck.
