What is the weirdest reason someone has given for not wanting to meet you? Not being rude to you or horrible but genuinely odd/funny reasons

Your hair looks lovely.
For the most part it's just been the usual "dont meet married men/women' on our single profiles and "not for us" on the couples profile.
We did once get stood up with the excuse "I forgot the football.was on" once though.

I've never approached someone in a "please pick me" way so haven't had the classic knock-back. I have had lots of fizzling outs, being told I'm on the wrong website and suddenly ignored for no obvious reason. |

Because I had kids..... I don't bring them to meets so that's an odd one to me.
Because I was only going to use them till I found someone better.
They weren't good enough.... I'll never understand that one.

You got fake boobies! I have only ever seen one pair of fake boobs when out on a night out/or shopping in my life. That was in the bull ring.

I didn't have Skype. I suggested WhatsApp, Messenger Video and Face Time. But no, it had to be Skype or no meet.

I told them I was waiting for the taxi and would be there soon. They said if I didn't bring my car they wouldn't meet.

About the weirdest one I had to contend with was a few years ago with a couple cancelling giving me the excuse of the car breaking down. Bull shit I'm thinking, but then two days later a message from her wanting to meet. It actually emerged that the relationship was so rocky, and he was so insecure that he was pulling the plug on meets where he thought that there was an outside chance that she might ditch him for the guy that they were meeting. Needless to say I took the opportunity presented to me, but didn't leave the invitation as wide open as allow her to bring her suitcase on the next visit. |

Took time off work and drove over an hour to meet a lady cause it was the best time to suit her at a venue that also suited her the best on her day off, then she texted after l told her l had arrived to say that she had been called back into work...that they were " unexpectally busy "...  |

My strangest was "You're not as large as you said you were." I was size 18 at the time, more than a bit uncomfortable with my size at that time, and he told me there's no way I'm size 18, as his ex was 16 and much larger than me.
