A man in Brighton is on trial for allegedly killing lots of cats and stabbing many others. Is this finally the capture of the Croydon cat killer or some sort of copy-cat killer?

I've heard of the 'UK cat killer' forgotten what area he was operating in, but he was prolific and had started to branch out into other areas of the country. Hope this is the guy they caught.

As long as animals remain as possessions in the eyes of the law, these people will never face proper justice.

Are dogs and cats supposed to run around wild and unhindered?

And before anyone jump's to a wrong conclusion I'm not condoning cruelty to animals.

We have cats and we love our furry overlords.

Do these crazed cat killers inspire others ?

Did the Croydon cat killer inspire the Brighton cat Killer?

What makes a human do this ?

I think they mean how many times do you have to clean up after someone else's animal if the owner isn't taking responsibility

I think what he is saying is that by definition of a cat isn't wild it belongs to someone. I'm not sure that precludes a change in law to recognise animals as sentient though.

Slightly of topic, and on a different note, why do you have to report to the Police if you run over a in your car, but not a ?

Don't think you have to report hitting a dead cat in your car

Shocking that some one would kill any animal for fun I do wish though that there was a law that cats had to be walked on a lead and NOT allowed to just go to the toilet in other peoples gardens, if they do then the owner has to clean it up...it's disgusting and spreads diseases...Yes I know that is the same with dogs and that some dog owners don't pick up their mess, and shame on them owners that don't Some people say that cats are meant to be free...well so was the dog until we humans domesticated them....for some reason we choose not to treat cats the same...it's wrong!!

Some more than others...I'd say cats are less domesticated in need of more rules and restrictions!!

So glad my boy, Steve, is okay! We're in Brighton but he's an indoor cat. He's only 3 but very nearly died due to the pet food scandal a few weeks ago though. The vet said he was extremely lucky to have survived as the majority didn't.

They caught the Northampton one a couple of years ago. He had also started setting fires which is very worrying considering how serial killers start.

Cruel fucks the lot of them.
