Do you remember those "was it you" sections in local papers?

I always used to look at those, not in a "I hope someone saw me on the bus" way but pure nosiness.
Only reason I'm mentioning them is as I had a fleeting "moment" today. Clocked a hot man coming out of a restaurant, he looked at me looking at him, smiled at me then ai got embarrassed and looked away, pretending to do something on my phone. Wish I'd smiled back!
Have you ever struck up conversation with someone like that? Or even been a twat like me and regretted not doing so? |

I used to walk past a shop when I worked in Covent Garden, lovely woman worked there. Occasionally we’d make eye contact, then there was a smile.
One Friday night, a few of us went to the pub after work and there she was. We dated for a while, then went our separate ways.
I still smile if I walk past the shop even though she’s long since gone from there. |

"They still have them on The Metro. Rush hour crush it's called.
Never done it though
Didn't know they still existed! "
I love reading them. No idea if anybody meets up after seeing the ad though. It's all very romantic. |

Yes we still have it in the Metro. I was going to put one in for myself once, thought that would be quite funny |
