Nooo, pet rats are adorable they learn their names, can teach them tricks, they come for cuddles, keep themselves clean.
People automatically think of wild rats and go "eeew" and it gives pet rats a bad rep. |

Decomposors. Amazing creatures, despite being horrible little twats. Bodies (of all kinds) would take much longer to decompose if it were not for flies and maggots. |

I agree. My rats are as playful and affectionate as and dog I've had.
They are really cute once you give them a chance. |

Ticks and leeches, went on holiday and got one of the little feckers stuck on the back of me knee (tick) . Had to have it pulled off in a chemist. Not had a leech, but anything that drinks our blood as a meal can't be allowed to share our planet! |
