Many feel this way when speaking up about feeling down. Don’t regret it. I applaud you for it.

It’s why there are a few regular contributors here who raise this subject repeatedly to encourage people to speak up. You can see from the numbers who joined this and those threads in support that you needn’t fear speaking up about it.
