As for who spends lots of time in the forums there's an easy way to tell, wait for the next Happy Birthday [insert name here] thread, and everyone who posts you can pretty much guarantee, they're a regular  |

You can report that. People aren’t allowed to harass if they are blocked. I had someone blocked and they wouldn’t leave me alone on the forums. They consequently got banned x |

I am on here regularly but not every day. Rarely start threads but often comment.
A few regular forumites don't seem to be around at the moment. It's been a bit heated in places recently, so they probably needed a break. |

not as much as I was... had a couple of properly shitty messages through privately from people I'd never really spoken to and decided to be more of a lurker for now.
luckily I've been on the forums long enough to get chatting to some brilliant people and hopefully get a couple of socials organised before I got those through, otherwise I reckon I would've sacked it off altogether! |

After all these years, I only just discovered them recently because of lockdown. I didn't realise that the machinery was in place to get yourself noticed, and make new connections like you do through forums. Wish I'd tried it years ago. |

Maybe it’s my misty-eyed recollection of “the good old days” or maybe I’ve just grown out of my mid-life crisis and lost interest but, I don’t know, the forums just don’t seem the same any more, they’re definitely missing *something*.
Or maybe times have just changed. I remember when Friends Reunited was an awesome website but that soon became obsolete and superseded. Maybe the forums are like that a bit for me.
In the meantime though I’ll post a daily Euros thread and post a reply in to one or two others .. but meh... not the same is it?  |

I am here everyday for the regular threads, fun and flirtation.
I observe many threads but may not post on them, I enjoy it from a people watching perspective and just to pass the time in between life stuff.

You could start with some of the Fabathon threads, there's the Nocturnal thread and PP's morning threads, Secret Service thread.
Just have a read of other ones and if something springs to mind post it on a thread. |

I'm in and out and don't find it as much fun now as I don't know as many people as I used to. I like the informative threads the best but the repetitive threads week in and week out I find really boring. |

Some times yes...but it can be a strange place at times... Cliquish & some are inclined to `gang` up for no reason at all...It's happened to me & I've seen it happen to others too... Bullying tactics & trolling

I am a regular 'grey' forumite that has been on for years and is never noticed. I'm seriously considering being a burglar due to my anonymity. It's amazing how many people give away their locations and the times they are at work. Totally unrelated, has anyone had a new TV recently? |

Part of the "problem" is often times its down to the same few to start new threads, as quite a few responses have shown they contribute here and there.
Even the more creative and thought provoking people will struggle to add new and unique threads often.
Hell, I've tried at times (and I'm not the only one) but responses are limited and it gets pushed off the first page quickly by the mass posting in the generic threads, |

I’m a lurker and might add a comment here and there. The forums are quite new to me There are some interesting threads and some equally interesting responses. I must admit a couple of threads I have read lately have turned toxic quite quickly and I step away from those.
