Pierced nipples

I'm fond of giving oral to nipples but am petrified of piercing my tongue on the pointing end,in case I damage my tongue. (I know I'm over cautious) as it will probably spoil the rest of my sexual play with the lady. Oral elsewhere. Any tips on how to avoid unnecessary pain and stress. I've got ones with pointy end caps but they're no where near long enough to pierce someone's tongue and I doubt however passionately you suck on one you'd ever do it with such force to push something through your tongue.
