'Sloaching Towards Bethlehem' by Joan Didion.
'... landmark collection of essays ... work that helped define the New Journalism of the late 1960s and today stands as some of the very finest nonfiction writing ever produced by an American writer ... ' |

I used to read Sydney Sheldon books and found one on Ebay that I didn't think I had read, blimey, it really wasn't a read for the 2020's that's for sure.
It actually put me off him now.
Just trying to figure out what to read next |

"Just finished The Salt Path which was very good.
Just started The Spirit Level "
Loved the salt path, heard poor reviews for the spirit level - be interesting to see what you think of it |

World War II: The Definitive Visual Guide. Its a DK Book with lots of text and illustrations, and gives an overall view of World War II and all theatres of war. To get the most out of the book and make sure I am taking in the information, I read a few chapters a night and am making good progress.

I'm reading Cynthia Payne's factual book about her trial -"Sexpicitly Yours"
It's her actual trial account in court. It's very funny. Despite serious implications for her...
I also look at Polynesian Skateboards & posters, designed by Cort Bengston (tattoo artist) - every day!
For loo reading (every day) - "Burn Your Portfolio" - Michael Janda.
When I finish Cynthia's book & I have a bit more time then "A Drink With Shane Macgowan" by Victoria Mary Clarke & Shane Macgowan! |

I love the Salt Path too.
I’ve heard podcasts based on the Spirit Level and the the research around happiness and equality is fascinating |

The Handmaids Tale - watched it on tv and loved it … the book is even better x
It’s on audio so I can listen while I’m busy - it’s read by Elisabeth Moss too which gives it extra x |

No, it's not random for me!
For me it's a reminder of inspiration & what you could do....Nature & tribal tattoos!
Yep, it says "cortsroyalink on instagram".
The web site: " colokingtattoos.com" But when I tried I could not get anything....? Perhaps he's struggling with Covid?
Found:-

There and to the left a bit |
"Thursday Murder Club - Richard Osman
About 50 pages to go and to be honest I've been disappointed by it
I gave up on that half way in."
I very rarely give up on books once I've started them, even if they're not holding my interest I still need to know the ending |
