Product removal in Press conferences.. organisers not happy with players moving products away from them in press conferences...Ronaldo moved cola and Pogba moved beer.. why should a tea total player have to be interviewed next to beer if his religion does not condone drink?

I am with the players on this one...

I think they said that for religious reasons, then it would be ok, but moving them otherwise may result in a fine.

And that for me is inconsistent..

On a mooch

The companies have did for product placement so expect their products to be on show as agreed.

Maybe sporting events need to rethink their sponsors, I’m a Coca Cola fan but it doesn’t exactly go with the athletes world or image.

Is it? Or is it just being flexible in your position to help the players who make the tournament happen?

Money talks unfortunately. Doesn't McDonalds sponsor the Olympics?

They're at a tournament sponsored by those products. Suck it up, if your personal views don't like it, don't play in the tournament. They paid good money to have their products there.

Heineken even displayed alcohol free beer.

I wonder if players are contractually obliged to attend press conferences ... I would imagine UEFA would always want Ronaldo on for example?

I think they even build restaurants in the villages but some athletes at the olympics will eat it or need to. What some of them have to eat calorie wise leaves me breathless
