No one wants to work, but some bright spark thought it would be a good idea around the time of the industrial revolution, well done whoever that was.

I think the oldest profession started a tad before that to be honest, and accountancy was probably hot on the heels

I thought we did nothing for billions of years, just picking berries and hunting mammoths, then some sage thought we should build factory’s to make stuff that we don’t need, then everyone else had to get jobs to buy the stuff they didn’t need, then they needed to get to the job they didn’t want, to pay for the stuff they didn’t need, so everyone had to buy cars, then they needed somewhere to put the cars, so they built garages, but garages look silly on there own so they stuck houses next to them, which is perfect cause everyone has to pay for those for the rest of their lives. We should have stuck to picking berries and hunting mammoths.

Always jobs being advertised, just got to keep looking.

As for a suitable job, sometimes we have a perception of what we think is suitable /appropriate but we have to think outside the box, and think how our skills can be used in an environment we didn't consider. Hopefully that makes some sense??

Honestly, while sometimes my job feels like going through the motions, on the whole it's OK.

I work in hobbyist/pro retail so we get the neurotic customers and dickheads, but we also get genuine, interesting and creative people. It's a small firm so while it gets high pressure sometimes, I also feel an important part of the machine and my contribution matters, so I try that bit harder to be good at it.
