The share price of the Coca-Cola dropped immediately, wiping billions off their market value. That'll learn 'em: too many of these crap food and sugary drink firms want to sponsor sports. |

I just watched the video and then I watched Pogba putting the Heineken down on the floor.......
Aren't and Heineken their sponsor's ......
I agree with the message but not with them doing that to someone who is paying them to do it ....... they are hypocrites both of them.

It's international football so I think they sponsor the event as a whole as opposed to certain players or teams. |

The players have no influence over who sponsors the tournament, that is down to UEFA. I think players have a right to decide if they want to have their face associated with a product so prominently.
There's absolutely no need to put bottles of booze or fizzy pop on the dias with them. It's a very new thing and completely unnecessary. The sponsor logos are already plastered all over the hoardings behind them etc.
It's a sporting event, not a business fair. |

I remember when water was first bottled. We couldn't stop laughing. "Who'd be stupid enough to pay for water?" we ALL used to say .....

I don’t drink alcohol but at least with alcohol people drink for a purpose, to feel tipsy or pissed.
I would much prefer to eat food and have calories from that than drink them by way of a fizzy drink full of sugar. |
