For many true FF leaving the M out for the moment can be very ... the reality is not always the fantasy.
From experience and as an observer, if the ladies get totally lost in each other (not a gratuitous pun or euphemism) it can be very disconcerting. Don't believe many actually get that as there is the M factor.

Generally (again as an observer) if they say they fancy FF but they enjoy cock (more) - they are trying to justify to themselves and others that its just a bit of fun and not really serious.
If you are truly Bi and not just playing BI - then it shouldn't be better or worse just different - different dynamic.
So for FFM is a halfway FF + M making sure drinks are topped up although not short of fluids
